Feel Safe

Be Empowered

At Valdez Native Tribe, Victim Services, we know that you want to be a successful person with hope for a productive and fulfilling life.

To do that, you need help for the challenges you face due to trauma that has you trapped physically or emotionally. The problem is experiences such as theft, fire, job loss, substance abuse, harassment, family death, or violent relationships have left you with all sorts of feelings. Fear, hopelessness, frustration, exhaustion, sadness, anger, depression, shame, and embarrassment may be a few of the emotions you’re experiencing.

We believe that all persons have the right to live without fear, oppression, violence, and abuse. Everyone should have power over their own lives to live with dignity and respect. We understand that trauma can be challenging to share. We know that you need someone who will listen to your experiences with confidentiality and respect, which is why we have developed the Victim Services program at Valdez Native Tribe.  Our trained staff has a trauma-informed approach to supporting members and beneficiaries. Community partnerships offer a diverse range of assistance from people who are knowledgeable and committed to helping those who need it. We offer an emergency shelter and on-site counseling with a licensed psychologist. You can access care in person or through telemed on your electronic device. Food boxes are also available, upon request.
