In November 2019 (17-23), four representatives from the Chugach region in South Central Alaska. Chief William Smith, Helen Morris, Diane Selanoff, and Patrick Selanoff traveled to East Berlin, Germany to visit the Ethnologisches Museum of Berlin and meet with Gudrun Bucher, researcher at Centre for Collection Development of Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, Marie Luisa Allemeyer, Director for Centre for Collection Development of Georg-August- Universität Göttingen, and Monika Zessnik, Curator for American Ethnology, to explore historical artifacts from the Chugach region and discover their functions/true origins.
