IHS Medical
The Valdez Native Tribe offers many different medical services beneficiaries. Here is a list of different medical services ranging from laboratory visits, to mental health services, as well as imaging and other digital procedures:
Before going in for any services, there is very important information that needs to be mentioned so you’re not left with an unpaid bill:
Emergency Room visits are to prevent loss of life or limb. If you have a non-emergency need for medical care, please call for an appointment in the Clinic for the next business day.
We don’t deny medical care, but may deny payment.
Public Health visits, hearing tests, as well as developmental testing are not paid for. The Public Health office is in the Mary K. Gilson Clinic Building. Please call 907-835-4612 for an appointment.
Failure to get an authorization may result in denial of payment.
