Love Shouldn’t Be Suffocating: Teen Dating Violence Awareness

Signs of Teen Dating Violence can include:

  1. Excessive jealousy or insecurity
  2. Unexpected bouts of anger or age
  3. Unusual moodiness
  4. Taunting or bullying
  5. Demands details about how you spend your time
  6. Restricts contact with your family or friends
  7. Controls what you wear or look like
  8. Ignores or violates your physical boundaries

Dating Abuse is a pattern of behaviors used to gain or maintain power and control over a partner.

Physical Violence is just one example of dating abuse.


Signs of Abuse:

  • Physical Abuse
  • Emotional/Verbal Abuse
  • Sexual Abuse
  • Financial Abuse
  • Digital Abuse
  • Stalking

Remember, no one deserves to experience abuse in any capacity; every type of abuse is serious.
